Who We Are

Alpha Theory is a free driving theory practice application developed by Alpha Drive (Alpha Powerful Solutions). The app includes an AI agent named "Alfi" that assists with learning.

Data We Collect

• Account information: Name, email, gender, and optionally a phone number (when connecting to an instructor via Alpha Drive).
• Progress data: Scores, experience points (XP), levels, and learning statistics.
• Answer history: Your responses to practice questions, used to personalize your learning experience.
• Device identifier: An anonymous ID stored locally on your device for syncing progress. Some data (gender, license type, and answer history) may be stored on our servers under this anonymous device ID even before you create an account, and is later linked to your account when you sign in.
• Microphone (optional): If you choose to talk to Alfi, your device converts speech to text (the OS/browser speech recognizer; on Android, processing may involve Google). The text is sent to Anthropic for a reply. No audio recording is stored.

Why We Collect This Data

• To improve the learning experience and adjust difficulty levels.
• To save and sync your progress across devices.
• To personalize practice content and recommendations.

AI Usage

The app includes a chat feature with an AI agent named "Alfi." Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic for processing using the Claude AI model. Messages are not retained long-term by Anthropic and are not used for model training.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for marketing purposes. Data is shared with third parties solely for service operation:

• Anthropic: Chat message processing via Claude AI.
• ElevenLabs: Text-to-Speech for the read-aloud feature.
• Supabase / AWS: Data storage and user authentication.
• PostHog: Product usage analytics (anonymous activity data to improve the app).

International Data Transfers

Some data is transferred and stored outside Israel as required for service operation:

• AWS servers in the United States (data storage via Supabase).
• Anthropic in the United States (chat processing).
• ElevenLabs (text-to-speech processing).
• PostHog in the United States (usage analytics).

Right of Access and Correction

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Act, 1981, you are entitled to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us. For inquiries and requests, contact us at: support@alphadrive.app

Data Retention

Data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of all your data at any time. Deletion will be completed within 30 days of the request. You can delete your account directly from the app or by contacting support@alphadrive.app.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Minors and Age

The app is intended for driving-theory candidates, some of whom are minors (ages 16 and above). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Where applicable law requires the consent of a parent or guardian, use of the app is conditioned on that consent. A parent or guardian who wishes to access, correct, or delete a minor's data may contact us at: support@alphadrive.app.
